Questions and answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you may want to know about Cioco Games and our games, in one place.

The studio

What is Cioco Games?

Cioco Games is an independent game development studio. We make original games for Android and iOS phones and tablets, and each one has its own art direction, rules and world. More about the studio.

What types of games does Cioco Games make?

Our games span action and stealth (Gate Blaze, Tile Thief); strategy and simulation (Crown Shift, Castle Loop TD, Tiny Beltworks, Pocket Traffic); puzzle and logic (Time Slice, Pocket Puzzle Vault, Neon Fuse); horror and mystery (Ghost Elevator). Browse all games by genre.

Our games

Are the games available on Android and iPhone?

Our games are made for Android and iOS phones and tablets, and they are coming to Google Play and the App Store. Each game's page on this site shows where you can get it: its store panel reads Launching Soon until the game is released in that store, then links straight to the listing.

Do the games contain advertisements?

No. None of our games shows ads, and none contains advertising or tracking services.

Can the games be played offline?

Yes. Every one of our games plays fully offline, so you never need an internet connection. Links on a game's About screen, for example to this website, open in your browser only when you tap them.

Do the games require an account?

No. There are no accounts, logins or player profiles: you open the game and play.

Are the games free or paid?

Each game's price will be shown on its store listing when it is released. Whatever the price, our games have no in-app purchases and no ads, so nothing is sold to you inside a game.

Which comfort and accessibility options are there?

Gate Blaze, Crown Shift, Castle Loop TD, Time Slice, Ghost Elevator, Neon Fuse and Tiny Beltworks offer Reduced Motion and High Contrast options. Pocket Puzzle Vault has Large Text and Reduced Motion. Pocket Traffic shows signals by colour, lamp position and ground markings, with an optional colour-blind palette, and Neon Fuse marks every pair by colour and symbol.

Saves and privacy

How are game saves stored?

Each game saves your progress and settings automatically in its own storage on your device. We have no cloud saves and cannot see or restore your progress. Your device's own backup, such as Android backup or iCloud Backup, may include it, depending on your settings. Most of our games can also erase progress from Settings, Reset Progress. How to delete game data.

Where can I find the privacy policy?

Our Privacy Policy is at ciocogames.com/privacy. It covers this website, every one of our games and our support channels, and each game links to it from its About screen.
